Types of Arthritis Conditions

The following is a list of the different arthritis conditions that are commonly seen, with a very short summary to define the differences.  Click on each condition to learn more about that particular arthritic condition:

Rheumatoid Arthritis - An Inflammatory Arthritis.
J.R.A. - Rheumatoid Arthritis in children.
Osteoarthritis - A Degenerative Arthritis.
Psoriatic Arthritis - An inflammatory Arthritis associated with a skin disorder.
D.I.S.H. - An ossification and calcification spinal Arthritis.
Gout - A painful Arthritis due to Uric Acid crystallization that usually occurs in the Big Toe.
Pseudogout - Appears like Gout, but does not have Uric Acid level crystallization.
Scleroderma - An autoimmune disorder that affects changes skin elasticity and causes inflammation.
Reiter’s syndrome - An arthritis condition that affects the joints, eyes, urethra, and skin.
Raynaud's - A vascular compromising arthritic condition.
Fibromyalgia - An Arthrititic classified condition that affects muscle tissues.
Canine Arthritis - Arthritis can affect your pet as well.
Paget's Disease - A painful bone disorder that will affect joints.
Ankylosing Spondylitis - An arthritic condition that causes fusing of the spinal joints.
